A syringe driver or syringe pump is a small infusion pump. It has a medical application. But there is a field of scientific research, where these devices could also be helpful. It is organic chemistry. A lot of chemical synthesis becomes a little bit easier, when lab worker use usual medical syringe for addition of some small amounts of chemicals. But sometimes procedure of addition of chemicals is veeeeeeery exhausting. This happens when this addition takes place for example, 8 hours:) And voila, my project on the scene! This device could slowly add your chemical without your intervention.
